Fast Rescue Boat (STCW)

STCW 33.5 hrs.; 3.35 CEU’s. USCG approved course which includes field exercises in basic RHIB handling, launch and recovery of the RHIB, in-water victim recovery, search operations, towing operations, running alongside another vessel underway, and effecting rescue around hazards. Classroom sessions will also cover hoisting to a helicopter, re-righting the boat, heavy weather operations, repairs and field trouble-shooting mechanical systems. Successful completion results in USCG certification for Proficiency in Fast Rescue Boat Operations (1995 STCW VI/2-2. Call for reduced MMA/Government rate. Ocean Rescue Systems certificate.
